After completing his residency at the University of New Mexico College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals in Albuquerque, where he was the Chief Resident, Dr. Chinthagada returned home to Chicago to complete an interventional pain fellowship at the world renowned Cook County Hospital.

He is double board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management and was recently recertified. After working as both an anesthesiologist in the operating rooms at a large trauma center and as a physician in the pain clinic for 12 years, he moved to Arizona in 2014 to focus solely on pain management.

Dr Chinthagada believes in utilizing modern interventional techniques in combination with traditional medicine to help patients not only to reduce their pain but also to improve function as much as possible.
